What Is Niagen + IV Therapy?

Niagen® is a patented form of nicotinamide riboside (NR), a vitamin B3 derivative that the body converts into NAD⁺. NAD⁺ is a coenzyme involved in many cellular processes, including redox reactions, mitochondrial function, and DNA-related repair pathways. It also plays a role in several enzyme systems that support normal cell metabolism.

When Niagen is given intravenously, NR and the accompanying nutrients enter the bloodstream directly. This allows our medical team to carefully control and monitor the infusion rate and concentrations.

How Niagen + IV Works at the Biochemical Level

The formulation also includes vitamins and minerals that serve essential biochemical roles:

The Niagen + IV Process

Our licensed professionals administer Niagen + IV therapy in accordance with established sterile protocols. The process begins with a brief review of your medical history to confirm that NR infusion is appropriate. A small catheter is then placed into a vein, and the formulation is infused at a controlled rate, typically over 45–60 minutes.

Throughout the session, the team monitors the catheter site, infusion rate, and overall tolerance in accordance with clinical guidelines. Once the infusion is complete, the catheter is removed, and standard post-care instructions are provided. Clients may schedule individual sessions or follow a structured plan as recommended by their Demma provider.
